My Tiny Balcony Garden That Actually Thrives

Started with one sad basil plant. Now I have a jungle in 20 square feet.

It started with a basil plant from the grocery store. The kind that comes in a plastic pot and usually dies within a week. Somehow, mine didn't. That small win gave me the confidence to try more.

A pot of cherry tomatoes. Some marigolds. A trailing pothos that now cascades over the railing like it owns the place. My balcony is tiny — maybe 20 square feet. But every inch has something growing.

The morning routine is my favorite part. Coffee in one hand, watering can in the other. Checking for new buds. Talking to the tomatoes (yes, I talk to them, and yes, I think it helps).

Plants don't need perfection. They need consistency. A little water, a little sun, a little patience. Kind of like everything else in life.
